George set the tone with two South East records, hitting a 100kg squat and 130kg deadlift. Her impressive total places her in the top 10 in the country for her category and secures her spot at a national competition.

Pauline had a brilliant day, earning two PBs – a 107.5kg squat and 135kg deadlift. Her total now ranks her 21st in the country, also qualifying her for nationals.

At 81 years old, David put in a phenomenal performance with a 65kg squat, 65kg bench, and an outstanding 120kg deadlift. This places him in the top 5 strongest 80+ lifters of all time in the UK, and top in the country in his class – as well as qualifying him for nationals.

At 77 years old, Rachel also had a fantastic day, hitting a 55kg squat, 27.5kg bench, and 75kg deadlift. She is now the South East record holder in all three lifts and the total, placing her 5th in the country in her category and earning her qualification for nationals too.

We’re incredibly proud of all four lifters – their dedication, consistency, and hard work are an inspiration, and we can’t wait to see what they achieve next.
