Following on from the success of Merry Liftmas in 2024, we're happy to announce the details for our Powerlifting Meet on Saturday 6th December.

Body Mentors Powerlifting Meet 2025

Mark your advent calendars, this is fast becoming the Christmas event you won’t want to miss! This year’s annual Body Mentors Powerlifting Meet will be held on Saturday 6th December 2025, 1-5pm.

The powerlifting meet will comprise of three lifts, performed in this order:

  • Squat (1pm)
  • Bench Press (2.30pm)
  • Deadlift (4pm)

Each lifter will get three attempts per lift, and the best successful attempt in each lift counts toward their total. Body Mentors coaches will be on hand to help lifters warmup and provide spotting for lifting attempts.

We’re hoping to build on the success of Merry Liftmas 2024, which was a great day with a supportive atmosphere, and over 35 Personal Bests achieved!

Festive snacks and drinks will be provided, along with a cheesy Christmas soundtrack, of course.

To register for the day please complete the sign-up sheet in the gym. And for those not participating, everyone is welcome to come and show their support.
